About the Journal
MEDIAPSI is edited by Lusy Asa Akhrani and other editorial board members.
MEDIAPSI is a peer-review semi-annually journal (published in June and December) that accommodates the needs for publications for researchers, lecturers, and also practitioners in psychology.
Our goal is to facilitate the dissemination of psychology research and practice in order to contribute to knowledge development and provide insights for society.
MEDIAPSI focuses on empirical research papers, be they quantitative (correlational or experimental) or qualitative, covering all areas of psychology that include general, industrial, organizational, social, developmental, educational, and clinical psychology. With this focus, we do not currently accept literature review papers because empirical research papers require that authors provide the readers with primary or secondary data. What is more, as stipulated in its Focus and Scope, MEDIAPSI prioritizes original over empirical replication papers, which offer some form of novelties, i.e., novel approaches, an understudied area, and a novel topic.
Since 2017, in the spirit of professionalism and making this journal more accessible to everyone, MEDIAPSI has applied online journal management (e-ISSN 2549-2004), meaning that our editorial and publishing processes are performed in an online system/environment.
MEDIAPSI has been accredited (SINTA 3) by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Decree No. B/1796/E5.2/KI.02.00/2020). The accreditation was established in mid-2020 and lasts for a 5-year period.

Before submitting your article or manuscript, we strongly recommend that you should carefully read the author guidelines, wherein you will find detailed information about the writing styles in accordance with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition, journal template, and guidelines of a manuscript revision.
MEDIAPSI has been indexed in various national and international indexation services.
